Congrats to all who competed in the MAC Invitational yesterday.  There were 28 teams present, and our boys team finished 7^th overall, while our girls team finished 3^rd overall. We had many great performances and brought home 29 total medals!  We also had one performance make the QV All-time record board.  Yesterday, Alex MacDonald's discus throw of 149 feet 2 inches is now 5^th All-Time in Quaker Valley history.  Congratulations, Alex!

Below are the top 6 medaling finishes from yesterday.

On the Girl's side, we had all 3 relay teams medal.

The 4x100m Relay Team of Zora Washington, Kwilai Karto, Vanessa Pickett, and Nora Johns placed 3^rd overall.

The 4x800m Relay Team of Cecilia Montagnese, Lizzie Szuba, Emily Bablak, and Kate Hines placed 3^rd overall. 

The 4x400m Relay Team of Emma Currier, Lizzie Szuba, Kate Hines, and Ellie Cain placed 6^th overall.

We also had the following individuals medal in their respective events:

Nora Johns - 1^st place in the 300m hurdles

Ellie Cain - 2^nd place in the 800m and 3^rd place in the 1600m

Jay Olawaiye - 2^nd place in Triple Jump and 6^th place in Long Jump

MiMi Thiero - 3^rd place in High Jump

Sarah Minard - 4^th place in Pole Vault

Cecilia Montagnese - 5^th place in 3200m

The boys team also had a lot of success taking 2^nd overall in the 4x800m Relay with the team of Luke Hotchkiss, Jackson Pethel, River Capek, and Clark LaLomia.  

The boys also earned individual medals from:

Noah Leather - 2^nd place in the 110 hurdles

Alex MacDonald - 2^nd place in Discus

Clark LaLomia - 5^th place in the 800m and 6th place in the 1600m

Timmy Burda - 5^th place in the 300m hurdles
