The boys and girls track teams traveled to Mars Middle School to compete in the Mars invitational yesterday and came away with some great performances.

For the girls. Shannon Von Kaenal was the discus champion of the day finishing in first place. 

Other medal winners were:

Paige Nichols 2nd in the shot put and 5th in the discus

Hannah Lubert 2nd in the Triple jump

Nora Johns 3rd in the hurdles

Ellie Cain 3rd in the 800 meters

Kathryn Karwoski 4th in the pole vault

The girls finished 4th overall out of over 30 schools.

The boys team had a very successful finish placing 4th and just 5 points away from first place.

There were two boys champions on the day.  

Maceo Marshall placed first in the 200 meters and second in the 100 meters leading the team with 18 points.

Gavin Eshenbaugh was the other champion with a first place in the long jump

other metal winners were:

Luke Hotchkiss 4th the half mile and 5th in the mile

Eric Weicht 2nd in the triple jump

Daniel Bartels 3rd place in the pole vault and 

Alex MacDonald 5th in the Discus
