Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers easily did away with Cornell 19-1 on Thursday
In the first inning, Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers got their offense started. Bella Jarrett drew a walk, scoring one run.
Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers scored nine runs in the second inning. Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers put the pressure on, lead by walks by Jarrett, Jadyn Holt, and Mai kruawangmon, singles by Marie Mccullough and Grace Carver, by Olivia Hoose, and a double by Gemma Wiegand.
Hoose led the Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers to victory in the circle. The righty went four innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out 11 and walking one.
Mccullough led Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers with two hits in three at bats. Quaker Valley Varsity Quakers tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Carver led the way with five.
