QVMS SOFTBALL fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-4 loss to Hopewell MS on Tuesday. The QVMS SOFTBALL struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hopewell MS, giving up 9 runs. Hopewell MS scored six runs in the second inning.
Olivia Hoose toed the rubber for QVMS SOFTBALL. The pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out two. Natalie DeGori threw four and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Nora Hammond went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead QVMS SOFTBALL in hits. QVMS SOFTBALL was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Hammond had the most chances in the field with four.
