Quaker Valley Middle School SB Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Burgettstown MS 

Quaker Valley Middle School SB stole the lead late in the game in a 15-13 victory over Burgettstown MS on Wednesday.  The game was tied at six with Quaker Valley Middle School SB batting in the top of the sixth when Natalie DeGori doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

A five-run lead in the seventh inning was just enough for Quaker Valley Middle School SB to hold off Burgettstown MS for the victory.  Burgettstown MS scored three runs on a home run in the seventh inning.

Quaker Valley Middle School SB evened things up at six in the top of the fourth inning.  DeGori doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Olivia Hoose earned the victory in the circle for Quaker Valley Middle School SB. The pitcher allowed 13 hits and 13 runs over seven innings, striking out 13.

Quaker Valley Middle School SB hit two home runs on the day. Bella Jarrett had a long ball in the seventh inning. Hoose had a dinger in the seventh inning.
