QVMS easily dispatched Northgate MS on Monday, 20-5.

QVMS got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Natalie Waffensmith drew a walk, scoring one run, Mya Eshenbaugh doubled, scoring two runs, Elena Cindrich doubled, scoring one run, Alivia Snyder drew a walk, scoring one run, Waffensmith doubled, scoring two runs, and Eshenbaugh was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

QVMS scored nine runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning.  Sydney Rice drew a walk, scoring one run, Emma Duckstein drew a walk, scoring one run, Snyer singled, scoring two runs, Addison Davis singled, scoring one run, Eshenbaugh singled, scoring one run, Cindrich was struck by a pitch driving in a run, Summer Kidney singled, scoring one run, and Duckstein drew a walk, scoring one run.

Northgate MS scored five runs on zero hits in the top of the third inning.  #15 drew a walk, scoring one run, #6 drew a walk, scoring one run, #22 was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, #11 drew a walk, scoring one run, and #12 drew a walk, scoring one run.

QVMS added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Cindrich singled, Kidney walked, and Julianna Vescio was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.

Davis began the game for QVMS .  The starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out six and walking none.  #12 opened the game for Northgate .  The starting pitcher allowed nine hits and 18 runs over two and one third innings, striking out two and walking 15.  Duckstein appeared in relief for QVMS. 

QVMS amassed 10 hits in the game.  Eshenbaugh drove the middle of the lineup, leading QVMS with four runs batted in.  The cleanup hitter went 2 for 2 on the day.  Eshenbaugh, Cindrich, Snyder and Kidney each collected two hits for QVMS.  Duckstein led QVMS with three walks.  Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 16 walks for the game.  Waffensmith, Davis, Snyder and Kidney each stole multiple bases for QVMS.  QVMS stole 15 bases in the game.

#6 led Northgate with one hit in one at bat.  #15, #6, #11, #22 and #12 each drove in one run for Northgate MS.  Northgate worked the count all day, piling up 7 walks.
