QVHS was very well represented at the AA Section 5 Singles tournament today by Chase and Joe!
Our section is considered one of the top AA sections- so the competition is fierce!
Joe won his first round match handily. But then he went down to the #2 player from Winchester in a close match! Joe might get another chance at that opponent later this month when we play Winchester!
Chase had an impressive tourney finishing 3rd which earns him a place in next week’s WPIAL Singles. He lost a close match to the Winchester #1 in the semis. But he then rebounded to avenge Joe’s loss by defeating the Winchester #2 to finish 3rd!
